It is a device in an “air conditioner” type housing, which contains all the necessary elements such as:
The use of an expansion valve inside the unit significantly simplifies the connection because it is no longer necessary to use it at the evaporator. It also simplifies control as all you need to do is use the thermostat and defrost heaters.
The unit does not have a refrigerant tank, thanks to which the amount of refrigerant in the installation is negligible (max 1.5 kg).
